COVID-19: Enhanced Safety Protocols & FAQs

At Prinsy’s Tours the safety of our guests, our drivers and our community is top of the list. We also want every guest to feel safe and confident when joining a Prinsy’s Tour. 

​​In addition to our normal Health & Safety policy, Prinsy’s Tours has increased its health and safety measures in response to the COVID-19 situation, to enable guests to still get out and enjoy a fun day out knowing their safety is top priority.

This includes:
  • ​Making it feel safe to be in close contact in our vehicles.
  • Ensuring the places we visit are safety-conscious and allow separate space for your group.
  • Remaining committed to exceeding our guests’ expectations in all areas.

​Some of the measures we are now taking:

1. Every Guest is Strictly Safety-Vetted

  • A Vaccine Pass is required for all tours and to access venues, thank you for your understanding. No pass, no tour sorry.
  • Before we will take your booking or pick you up, we hope you don’t mind if we kindly ask "are you well?”
  • Guests who are unwell will be declined a tour.
  • ​If we are at all unsure or enough evidence hasn’t been provided, we’re sorry but to ensure the safety of all passengers and our staff, we won’t be able to take you on a tour this time.

2. Putting a Hold on Food Sharing & Cheeseboards

  • ​As much as we all love a good cheeseboard, on your Prinsy’s Tour we will not be providing the advertised cheeseboards at this time, to minimise any risk associated with food sharing. We are however working on a contactless alternative - price on enquiry. We thank you for your understanding.

3. Every Stop on the Tour is Safety Vetted

  • ​We are actively only making stops at wineries and cellar doors that are making a concerted effort around health & safety relating to COVID-19, to give you peace of mind.
  • We are ensuring that at each stop there is space for your group to enjoy a tasting in a separate space to other groups, as much as is practicable. This will allow you to experience the winery, and perhaps even receive a more hands-on tasting than usual.

4. Hospital-Grade Sanitising of our Vehicles

  • After each tour the interior surfaces of our vehicle are cleaned using hospital-grade Viraclean® spray.
  • Hand sanitiser, anti-viral / anti-bacterial detergent and wipes are kept in all vehicles.
  • Small compostable rubbish bags have been placed in all vehicles to collect any personal tissues and the like.

5. Encouraging Small Group Tours with People You Know

  • Our Exclusive Tours are some of our most popular, yet many people are still unaware they can have a tour all to themselves at a very comparable rate. We would encourage groups of friends and family to go in on a tour together and also consider a private bespoke tour as an even safer option.

6. Remaining Responsive to the Unfolding Situation

  • Our team are meeting weekly whilst the COVID-19 pandemic is at this level and reviewing all policies and procedures, allowing our response to the situation to evolve accordingly.
